OUTSIDE PERSONALITY - Outside the ring, Yumi is a very quiet, shy girl who doesn’t tend to open up to many people. If she does, however, she’s very easygoing and charming. Yumi is a huge fan of the Pokemon video games and anime series, and is often seen on her Nintendo Switch playing various Pokemon titles. As evidenced by her choice in entrance song, she’s also a massive fan of ‘90s-’00s era American nu-metal music, owning merchandise for bands such as Limp Bizkit, Three Days Grace, A Day To Remember, Papa Roach and various other bands that were at their peak in the late 1990s and 2000s.
IN-RING PERSONALITY - Inside the ring, Yumi Aikawa is stoic, if not completely devoid of emotion. A cerebral, cold tactician of the highest order, Aikawa delivers precision strikes and throws and holds intended on delivering damage to an opponent’s weakest spots. However, despite her seemingly cold-hearted nature, Yumi is an honorable fighter and extremely respectful of all her opponents, refusing to cheat or take advantage of an opponent’s misfortunes.

As the drums and rhythm guitar to “Open Your Eyes” hits, a billow of white smoke coats the entrance stage, blue and black flare graphics adorning the video screen. The instrumental quickly cuts into the song’s chorus as Yumi Aikawa makes her way through the curtains.
“Open your eyes, open your mind!
Proud like a God, don’t pretend to be blind!
Trapped in yourself, break out instead!
Beat the machine that works in your head!”
Adorned in a black duster that sweeps across the floor as she walks with a large chibi version of her head imprinted on the back, Yumi looks out to the crowd as she makes her way towards the ring. A white sports-bra styled top with black and light blue paint drip designs covers her torso. Elbow pads and white wrist tape that’s wrapped around her hands and up to her forearms completing the top half of her gear. Her bottoms are cargo-style pants, black with light blue and white paint drip style designs covering them with “Y U M I” written down both sides.
Yumi pushes her way through the curtains as the crowd turns to the stage, cheering on the calculating warrior from Kobe. Yumi, all the meanwhile, keeps her eyes locked on the ring as she marches down the ramp.
“APPROACHING THE RING! FROM KOBE, JAPAN! BLAAAAAAAAAACK ICE! AIIIIIIIIIIIKAWAAAAAAAAA! YUUUUUUUUMIIIIII!”
Colored ice blue contacts in her eyes, the dreadlocked dynamo stomps her way to the ring, quietly shoving aside a cameraman filming her from the front as she climbs up the stairs. Wiping the soles of her black boots on the apron before climbing into the ring.
Stepping towards the ropes nearest the hard cam, Yumi clenches her right hand into a fist before punching her open left hand, squeezing her fist as she glares out into the audience before awaiting (the arrival of her opponent/the bell to ring).
