OUTSIDE PERSONALITY - Shikimi is slow to make jokes but remains courteous and polite at all times. She seems to sometimes lack certain social cues and can often times come off as rude or as though she’s ignoring others. It simply isn’t the case so much as her mind is in a whole other place and offers little in the way of attention unless someone snaps her direct focus.
IN-RING PERSONALITY - Cool, sharp, analyzing. Shikimi will watch every single move you make and go at length to figure out why you do it. Do you add a swivel in your hips at the end of your German Suplex? Do you put an arm wrench in your seated armbar as you apply pressure? Do you set weight on one leg more than the other when you move around the ring? She’ll take note of every single unique bit of business that makes you different from the others in the locker room and figure out how she can use what she has to counteract it. What Shikimi may lack in violent quotient, power, even agility, she makes up for in sheer analytical wit and technique.

The pleasant notes and introduction of “Filth In The Beauty” begin playing over the speakers. The lighting is low and for a moment everything is calm amidst the vocals that start the song off. At about twenty seconds into the song, the hard guitar riffs suddenly hit and the way to the ring is spotlighted in green lighting. Shikimi Kurokawa walks from out of the curtain, stopping to drop to her knees and sit on her haunches. Her entire frame draped in a long gi that pools around her and hangs off her shoulders.
She eventually rises to her feet with the lighting returning to normal. Shikimi walks to the ring, climbing onto the apron before stepping through the second and first ropes. She makes a motion and takes a standard horse stance before shrugging off the gi hanging from her shoulders, showing her ring gear for the first time.
